Welcome to Akekal Shepherds & Mudi
Welcome to Akekal White Shepherds and Mudi!  I am a small "kennel" in the central Florida area.  You can call it a kennel in name only, my dogs live in the house with me!  I am the proud owner of two beautiful longcoated white shepherds, both from Regalwise Shepherds in Abilene, Kansas.  I have one Mudi, who was imported from Hungary.  I also have a spaniel mix, who keeps the shepherds in line.  Please look around and enjoy your visit!
Akekal White Shepherds is proud to be the home of the FIRST and SECOND White Shepherds registered with the United Kennel Club to achieve the United Grand Agiilty Champion title!!!  Kal-El earned the title on July 12, 2008, followed by his sister Sparrow the next day on July 13!  Way to go kids, I'm very proud of both of you!

My Kennel name is from combining the name of my first two white shepherds.  Akela was my first white shepherd, who I loved dearly, even with all his issues!  Kal-El is my second white shepherd, who showed me all that these dogs can truly be. 

Akekal is pronounced Ah-Key-Kal.
